What We Do
We, at The Furniture Trust, believe there is a better way to handle unwanted furnishings and supplies!
The dynamic business environment often generates office furniture, accessories and supplies that are still very useable but not needed by a particular company. Typically, these items are either warehoused or, in many cases, thrown out and sent to landfills.
The Furniture Trust wants to partner with you in disposing of your unwanted furnishings in a socially responsible way. We are a non-profit charity formed by Boston business leaders to provide alternatives for the disposition of your excess office furnishings. We understand the complex and demanding requirements of furniture disposition and will provide you with a step by step donation/disposal plan. This includes an evaluation of your donation, from coordinating contractors to placement of your unwanted furnishings with organizations in need.
The Furniture Trust can find a home for your donated items with local schools, non-profits and other charitable organizations in need. All items are evaluated with an eye toward the best reuse option. Your donation of good useable office furnishings can provide much needed help to others and keep furniture from ending up in landfills! The Furniture Trust wants to partner with you in this environmentally responsible process.
